Anglesey is home to this year’s National Eisteddfod, from 4-12 August.

The Eisteddfod is one of the world’s major festivals – attracting up to 150,000 visitors each year.

With competitions, music, literature, drama and family activities, art, science, dance and shopping there is something for everyone.

The Eisteddfod is Wales’ biggest festival and all eyes will be on Anglesey for a whole week, with hundreds of activities of all kinds held from morning till night.

This year’s festival centres around Bodedern, just 6 miles away from Tyn Llain. Why not join us and combine a relaxing stay with the excitement of the Eisteddfod?

  1. Stayed here for just one night but wished it could have been longer. We had a warm welcome and shown to our beautiful room, we were offered tea and homemade cake too. We drove a short drive to find somewhere to have an evening meal and then took wine back to our room to enjoy. We had to leave early on the Sunday Morning and asked if we could have sausage sandwiches to take away this was not a problem at all and very much appreciated.
Hope to return for a longer stay next to explore more of the beautiful surroundings.

    1. Thank you for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope that you will return to stay at Tyn Llain.
